Earlier this afternoon, paramedics from KZN Emergency Medical Services and several private ambulance services have responded to Chota Motala road in the Pietermaritzburg area, where a truck has reportedly collided with 11 light motor vehicles. Eight people have been injured in the collision. Most of the patients only sustained minor injuries.
The patients were treated on scene before being transported to hospital by paramedics from several ambulance services.
The cause of the collision is being investigated by the police
