Two people have been injured one seriously so after two vehicles collided in a head on collision on Kenyon Howden Road near the N2 bridge around 14:30 yesterday.
Rescue Care paramedics arrived on scene to find that both drivers had sustained injuries, one seriously so and was still trapped in the wreckage. Fire Department was immediately contacted to come and assist extricate the patient using the Jaws of life. Once both drivers had been stabilized they were transported by Rescue Care to various Durban hospital for the further care that they required.
At this stage it is unclear what caused the collision however SAPS is investigating further.
