An accident that occurred on Dudley Smith Road near Trichardts Road in Cinderella, Boksburg last night at around 22h30 have left seven people injured and one person dead.
Netcare 91 paramedics and other services arrived on the scene and found three vehicles scattered over the roadway.
Reports from the scene indicate that an initial accident took place between two vehicle after which a third vehicle collided with the primary accident scene.
Upon assessment of the occupants, they found that one person tragically lost a life, one person was in a critical condition, four people sustained serious injuries and two people sustained moderate injuries,
The injured patients were treated on scene and transported to hospital for further medical care.
Exact detail surrounding the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
