Four people have sustained serious injuries after two vehicles collided at the corner of Berea Road and Botanic Gardens Road in Berea around 2am this morning.
Rescue Care paramedics arrived on the scene to find that two vehicles had collided in the junction. A quick survey revealed that four people had sustained serious injuries and needed Advanced Life Support intervention to stabilize them. Once all of the injured had been stabilized on scene they were transported to various Durban Hospitals for the further care that they required.
At this stage it is unclear what caused the collision however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
