Hillcrest truck rollover leaves four workers injured

Four workers were injured after a truck carrying gum poles overturned on a rural road in the Hillcrest area of Kwa-Zulu Natal. A report from the scene indicates that the truck was traveling down a steep road when the driver veered off the road causing the truck to overturn, spilling its load of poles and the workers.

Netcare 911 paramedics and the provincial services arrived at the scene and after triaging found that three people had sustained serious injuries while one man escaped with minor injuries. After the injured were treated at the scene paramedics transported them to a local hospital for the care that they required.
