Four men were injured after a motor vehicle overturned on the N2 south bound near Sibaya Casino on the north coast in KZN.
Netcare 911 paramedics and other services arrived at the scene and found the vehicle left the roadway, overturned and came to a standstill down an embankment.
Upon assessment of the four occupants, they found that two men sustained serious injuries and two men sustained moderate injuries.
All four patients were treated on scene and transported to hospital for further medical care.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
