A man was burned to death last night on the R26 near Bethlehem when his panel van collided with a tractor.
ER24 paramedics arrived on scene and found the panel van on the side of the road lying on its side, well alight. Fire services were on scene busy fighting the blaze.
Once the blaze was extinguished, paramedics discovered the charred remains of the driver trapped behind the steering wheel.
The driver of the tractor was not found on scene.
The cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
