A man has died after being knocked by a bakkie close to Ritchie about 30 kilometres from Kimberley.
ER24 paramedics who were dispatched, to the N12 South, earlier today, found that the man died on scene after sustaining severe head injuries.
It is believed he was crossing the national road when the driver of a bakkie hit him. The driver of the bakkie did not sustain injuries.
Other authorities were on scene.
