Various people were injured after a minibus left the roadway, overturned and came to a standstill in a ditch on Olifantsfontein Road in Glen Austin AH, Midrand this morning.
Exact detail surrounding the cause of the accident and preceding events are unknown and will remain the subject of a police investigation.
Netcare 911 paramedics and other services arrived at the scene and found the minibus in the ditch and approximately fourteen occupants injured during the accident.
Upon assessment it was found that the occupants had sustained injuries ranging from moderate to serious.
All the injured occupants were treated on scene before they were transported to hospital for further medical care.
