SAPS arrest an alleged high flyer and his Attorney for possession of Tik at Mitchells Plain Magistrates’ Court

Wednesday (2014-12-03) at about 09:35 Mitchell’s Plain SAPS Court Orderlies arrested a 34-year-old Attorney and her client, a 33-year-old alleged drug dealer for possession of tik at the Mitchell’s Plain Magistrates’ Court. It is alleged that the Attorney had asked to consult her client at the court cells when our members witnessed how she handed over a plastic packet to the accused that was appearing on another unrelated matter.

The members acted swiftly and the accused was searched. Upon searching the accused, members found in his possession four (4) packets of Tik and upon further search, a plastic bag were recovered containing 30 small plastic packets of Tik concealed inside two cigarette packets. Both suspects will appear tomorrow (Thursday 2014-12-04) in the Mitchell’s Plain Magistrates’ on a charge relating to possession of Tik.

Police management want to thank  all community structures of Mitchell’s Plain who joined the South African Police Service in combating crime, further we urge the community to remain vigilant and to contact their respective Sector Commanders with information.
