Three people were injured, two seriously so, after a light delivery vehicle overturned on the N2 south by the M7 off ramp this morning. A report from the scene is that the vehicle was traveling south bound when it veered to the right and overturned, the wreckage coming to rest about a hundred meters down the roadway.
Netcare 911 paramedics and other services arrived at the scene and found the three men on the verge, the canopy and load landed in the north bound lane while the twisted frame of the bakkie came to rest on its side next to the fast lane.
After the injured were treated at the scene paramedics transported them to a nearby hospital for the care that they required.
