Gauteng – Minister of Transport, Ms. Dipuo Peters, together with the CEO of the Road Traffic Management Corporation (RTMC), Advocate Makhosini Msibi will release the 2014 Festive Season State of Road Safety report and statistics. This will take place during a press briefing tomorrow at the RTMC offices in Pretoria East.
The 2014 Festive Season Road Safety campaign has focused on:
• Heightened and intensified road safety education and law enforcement activities throughout the country especially in hazardous locations,
• Road safety tips for road users,
• Public and private partnerships in road safety to reduce the carnage on our roads.
