Ten people have sustained various injuries this morning after the taxi they were in collided into the back of a bus on South Coast Road in Mobeni just after 06:15am.
Rescue Care paramedics arrived to find one of the passengers still entrapped in the wreckage, the jaws of life and other hydraulic equipment had to be used to free the passenger. A further nine people had sustained minor to moderate injuries and were stabilized on the scene before being transported to various hospitals for the further care that they require.
At this stage it is unclear what caused the collision however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating the incident further.
