Forest Town road crash leaves thirteen injured

Thirteen people were injured following an accident at the intersection of Oxford Road and Forest Drive in Forest Town this afternoon.

Netcare 911 paramedics and other services arrived at the scene and found that a minibus and small delivery truck had collided.

Both vehicles came to a standstill at the corner. The small delivery truck came to a standstill against the robot.

Upon assessment of all the occupants they found that five people had sustained serious injuries and eight people sustained minor to moderate injuries.

All the injured patients were treated on scene and transported to various hospitals for further medical care.

Exact detail surrounding the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.

Traffic was affected as a result of the accident.
