A man in his 20s sustained moderate injuries after he fell off his scooter at the Harding and Hardwick Road intersection in Newcastle, KwaZulu Natal.
ER24 paramedics arrived at the intersection and found the man sitting on the pavement in a large amount of pain.
Paramedics assessed the patient and found that he had sustained serious injuries to his knee. Paramedics treated the patient and stabilised his leg before transporting him to Mediclinic Newcastle for further treatment.
It is believe that the man lost control of his vehicle after a mechanical fault.
