An accident on the R61 this morning has left an elderly man seriously injured. Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain a subject for police investigation.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found that a car had rear-ended a bakkie , after triaging the injured they found that an elderly man had sustained serious injuries. After paramedics stabilised the injured man at the scene they transported him to a local hospital for the care that he required.
