Multiple patients are being transported to various hospitals following a seven taxi pile at Wolmarans Street and Klein Street, in Johannesburg CBD.
ER24 paramedics and other services arrived on scene and found several bystanders in the area. Patients were lying on the pavements and on the road.
Taxis were badly damaged. Patients were assessed. 22 patients sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate. They were treated and transported to local hospitals. The road has been closed to traffic.
