Three road crashes in hour Berea

Three separate accidents in a space of a hour has left five people injured in the Berea area just after 7am this morning.

The first collision was at the intersection of Manning Road and Clark Road, three vehicles collided before two of them came to rest against a property wall. Three people and a pedestrian sustained various injuries. Once all of the injured had been stabilized on scene they were transported t various Durban Hospitals for the further care that they required.

Whilst paramedics were attending to this collision they were called to a second collision at the corner of Bulwer Road and Clark Road. On arrival paramedics found that three cars had collided in the junction. One person had sustained moderate injuries and was stabilized on scene before being transported to a nearby hospital.

Before the second collision could be cleared up another collision involving two cars occurred on Bulwer Road before Clark Road. Fortunately there were no injuries sustained in this collision.

Metro Police and SAPS were in attendance at all three collisions and will be investigating further.
