Fourteen people were injured after a taxi overturned along Ruismierbult Road in the Potchefstroom area. Exact details to the cause of the accident is still speculative, however the vehicle veered off the road and came to rest in the open veldt.
Netcare 911 paramedics and other services arrived at the scene and after triaging found fourteen people with injuries ranging from critical to minor. After paramedics stabilised the injured at the scene they transported them to nearby hospitals for the care that they required.
