A thirty eight year old biker has been killed after he collided with a truck on South Coast Road near Merebank Station just after 18:20 last night.
Rescue Care paramedics arrived on scene to find the biker in a critical condition. Rescue Care’s Advanced Life Support unit tried to stabilize the critically injured biker however he had sustained serious injuries and despite all efforts succumbed to his injuries on the scene. The truck driver was not injured in the collision.
It is unclear what caused the collision however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
