Three people were injured after they were knocked over by a motor vehicle on the Golden Highway in Bophelong this morning.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found that a VW Golf had left the roadway and knocked over a woman and two men at the side of the road. Exact detail surrounding the cause of the accident and preceding events will however remain the subject of a police investigation.
Upon assessment of the three injured patients, they found that all three had sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate. The injured patients were treated at the scene and transported to hospital for further medical care.
Fortunately the driver of the motor vehicle escaped the accident uninjured.
