One person was seriously injured after a vehicle overturned along the N12 about twenty kilometres from Potchefstroom just after 06h00 this morning. Reports from the scene indicate that the vehicle veered off the roadway and rolled several meters into the long grass, the wreckage coming to rest on its roof.
Netcare 911 paramedics received a call from a person that drove by and noticed the vehicle wheels sticking out in the grass. On arrival we found that the driver had sustained serious injuries, he was stabilised at the scene and then transported to a nearby hospital for the care that he required.
