Ten people were injured after a light delivery vehicle overturned on a dirt road in the Bhomela area on the KZN south coast this afternoon.
Netcare 911 paramedics and other services arrived at the scene and found the occupants of the vehicle sitting and lying around the overturned vehicle.
Upon assessment of all the occupants they found that ten people had sustained injuries ranging from moderate to serious. All the injured patients were treated at the scene and transported to various hospitals for further medical care.
Exact detail surrounding the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
