Suspects arrested and stolen livestock seized at a roadblock on the R24

On Friday 13 February 2015, the Rustenburg Flying Squad and local public safety officials arrested three men for possession of stolen livestock.

The suspects were arrested when their vehicle was pulled over at a roadblock on the R24 and they failed to produce documentation for the 43 goats they were transporting.

Detectives from the Stock Theft Unit were called out and they established that the goats had allegedly been stolen in Paardekraal and were being transported to Klerksdorp.

The suspects will appear in court on Monday, 16. February 2015.
