Taxi collision leaves 10 injured Berea, Durban

Ten people have been injured after the taxi they were travelling in slammed into the back of a vehicle on Berea Road Durban bound before Currie Road just after 8am today.

Rescue Care paramedics arrived on scene to find that a taxi had collided into a polo. Passengers from the taxi were found on the side of the roadway with various injuries. Once all of the injured had been treated and stabilized on scene they were transported to various Durban Hospitals for the further care that they required.

At this stage it is unclear what caused the taxi to hit the vehicle however Metro Police were in attendance and will be investigating the incident further.
