Three injured in bike crash at intersection in Durban

Two occupants of a motor bike as well as a car driver have been injured after a collision early this morning at the intersection of Avondale Road and Argyle Road in Durban.

Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene to find that a bike carrying two people had collided with a vehicle in the junction. The bike passenger had sustained serious injuries and Advanced Life Support paramedics worked to stabilize her. Once all of the injured had been treated on scene they were transported by Rescue Care to various Durban Hospitals for the further care that they required.

At this stage it is unclear what caused the collision however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating the matter further.
