The driver of a motor vehicle has died after his vehicle collided with a tree in Trematon Drive, Morningside Durban around 7pm last night.
Rescue care paramedics arrived on scene to find the single vehicle had collided with a tree on the passenger side. The vehicle was extensively damaged. Paramedics assessed the driver and found that he had sustained fatal injuries and there was nothing further they could do to assist. He was declared deceased on the scene.
At this stage it is unclear what caused the collision however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further
