13 Injured as taxi crashes through palisade fence on Sunderland Road in Bellair

13 people were injured this morning after a taxi rolled through a palisade fence on Sunderland Road in Bellair, KwaZulu Natal.

ER24 paramedics, along with other services, and found the taxi lying on the embankment on its side. The occupants of the taxi were found sitting on the pavement.

On assessment, paramedics found that two patients had sustained moderate injuries while 11 others had sustained only minor injuries.

Paramedics treated the patients for their injuries and thereafter transported them to various hospitals for further treatment.

The cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
