Four people have been left with various injuries after two vehicles collided in a T Bone format on Jan Smuts Highway near Brickfield Road, Durban around 11am today.
Rescue Care paramedics arrived on scene to find the two vehicles obstructing the roadway. An assessment was done and it was established that four people had sustained various injuries. Another ambulance was called to assist in transporting the injured to hospital. One patient required Advanced Life Support intervention to stabilize him. Once all of the injured had been stabilized they were transported to various Durban Hospitals for the further care that they required.
At this stage it is unclear what caused the collision however the necessary authorities were on scene and will be investigating further.
