4X4 Weekend Warrior Night Drive Event at McCarthy Rhino Park

Weekend Warrior, an initiative by Torre Automotive for 4×4 enthusiasts to participate in a weekend outdoor club, will be running a night drive 28 March at McCarthy 4X4 in Rhino park, north of Pretoria, Gauteng, co-ordinates: S25 49.890; E28 32.333

Rhino Park is situated 35km from Pretoria and 11km from Rayton, off the R515. It has a 12km route with a variety of obstacles. It is also the home of McCarthy 4×4 club. Rhino Park has a bar and restaurant, as well as a braai area and ablution facilities with hot water.

Activities for the day include a braai at 4pm followed by the 4X4 track which starts from 7pm – 11pm.

A maximum of 20 vehicles will be allowed on the day. The cost is R150 per vehicle to be paid on the day. Members RSVP to Leonard Chester, product manager – Vehicle Accessories, Torre Automotive at leonard.chester@torreauto.co.za.

Directions to RhinoPark

From Pretoria: Drive on the N4 freeway direction Witbank. Take the Rayton, Cullinan, Bapsfontein off-ramp at the top of the Donkerhoek mountain. After the tollgate (+- 150m) turn right onto the R515 towards Bapsfontein. Approximately 4km down the road turn left at the McCarthy 4×4 Club, Rhino Park signboard.
