Four people were injured, three seriously so, after two vehicles collided along the N8 in Bloemfontein Last night. Exact detail to the cause of the accident is still speculative and will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
Netcare 911 paramedics and other services arrived at the scene and found that some of the injured were still trapped in the twisted frame of the vehicles. After triaging the wounded they found that three people sustained serious injuries while one escaped with minor injuries.
Paramedics worked fervently to stabilise the injured at the scene and after they were skilfully immobilised on trauma boards , they transported them to a local hospital for the care that they required.
