A cyclist was seriously injured after she came off her bike during a ride on a gravel Road in Camperdown this morning. A report from the scene indicates that the wheel buckled and the rider flew over the handlebars and landed on the gravel.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the cyclist at the side of the roadway. After they stabilised her at the scene, they transported her to a local hospital for the care that she required.
