A man in his 20s is in a critical condition this morning after he was hit by a light motor vehicle on Prichardt Road in Johannesburg CBD.
ER24 paramedics from the Johannesburg South branch arrived on the scene and found the male patient lying on the pavement, surrounded by a large group of people.
On assessment, paramedics discovered that the patient was in a critical condition with severe injuries to his head and chest.
Paramedics provided the patients with rapid advanced life support intervention and thereafter transported him to Johannesburg General Hospital for further care.
The cause of the incident is not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
