A female miraculously escaped with minor injuries after a roll-over accident on the N2 about five kilometres from Hibberdene this morning at around 03h00. Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events is still speculative, however the vehicle veered off the roadway overturned its twisted remains coming to rest up an embankment.
Netcare 911 and the provincial paramedics arrived at the scene and were surprised to find that the female driver had escaped with only minor injuries. After they treated her on scene she was transported to a nearby hospital for the care that she required.
