A collision between a taxi and bakkie has left seven people injured this afternoon on Racecourse Road in Kenilworth, Western Cape.
On arrival at scene, ER24 paramedics found both the taxi and bakkie blocking one lane of the busy road. Most of the occupants were found sitting inside the taxi.
On inspection, paramedics discovered that seven people had sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate. Fortunately no-one sustained any fatal injuries.
Paramedics treated the patients for their injuries and thereafter transported them to Hanover Day Hospital for further treatment.
The cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
