Fifteen people have been injured, three seriously so after the taxi they were in collided with a stationary taxi before overturning coming to rest on its side on the N3 Durban Bound before Sherwood just before 9am this morning.
Rescue Care paramedics arrived on scene to find that the fully loaded taxi had collided into the back of a stationary taxi before overturning coming to rest on its side. Passengers were found to be lying all over the busy highway. More ambulances were called in to assist with the injured patients. Once all of the injured had been stabilized they were transported to various Durban Hospitals for the further care that they required.
At this stage it is unclear what caused the collision however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
