45 Injured when truck rolled on a farm at Fouriesburg in the Free State

A collision occurred on an apple farm in Fouriesburg, Free State, earlier today. The collision involved a ten ton truck. The truck allegedly lost control on a corner and then rolled – the road was allegedly wet and slippery.

The truck was transporting 45 workers on the back and when the collision occurred all 45 passengers were injured. When ER24 paramedics arrived on scene they found that the injuries of the patients ranged from minor to moderate and no fatal or serious injuries were sustained.

ER24 paramedics treated and transported a total of 17 patients to Mediclinic Bethlehem as well as Fouriesburg Clinic for further treatment. The remaining patients were treated by other services. The cause of the incident remains unknown.
