Six people have been injured one seriously so after two taxis collided on Umbilo Road near Queen Mary avenue on Sunday morning around 07:20.
Rescue Care paramedics were called to the collision where two taxis had collided before one went through a church wall. On arrival paramedics found the injured lying on the pavement. A total of six people had sustained various injuries and were stabilized on scene before being transported by Rescue Care paramedics to a nearby hospital for the further care that they required.
At this stage it is unclear what caused the collision however SAPS were on scene and will be investigating further.
