A biker has miraculously escaped serious injury after he collided with a car on Booth Road in Cato Manor just after 7am this morning.
Rescue Care paramedics arrived on the scene to find the bike had caught alight after the initial impact. Paramedics found the biker had sustained minor injuries and was being attended to by a trauma doctor Dr Hardcastle. Rescue Care paramedics took over the patient care from Dr Hardcastle and transported the biker to a nearby hospital for the further care that he required.
At this stage it is unclear what caused the collision however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating the matter further.
