A man in his 30s was killed this morning after his motorcycle t-boned a truck on the R41 in Randfontein, west of Johannesburg.
When ER24 paramedics arrived on scene, they found the smouldering wreckage of the motorcycle lying in the middle of the road. A truck had stopped a short distance away from the motorcycle.
The lifeless body was found lying halfway beneath the heavy vehicle.
When paramedics assessed the patient, they found that the patient had already succumbed to his multiple fatal injuries.
The man was declared dead on scene by ER24 paramedics.
Local authorities were on scene to investigate the cause of the collision.
