Four people were injured following an accident on R554 near Keurboom Street in Van Dyk Park, Boksburg this afternoon.
Upon arrival at the scene, paramedics found that two vehicles were involved in the collision. One of the vehicles left the roadway, overturned and crashed through a fence and came to a standstill in a private property.
Upon assessment of the occupants, paramedics found that four people had sustained serious injuries during the accident.
The injured patients were treated at the scene and transported to hospital for further medical care.
Exact detail surrounding the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
