A young school child approximately 7 years of age is in a critical condition after he was knocked over by a car this morning on Glanville Road, Montclair, Durban just after 7am.
Rescue Care paramedics arrived on scene to find the critical injured young boy on the roadway. He had sustained critical injuries and Advanced Life Support paramedics had to place the young man on a manual ventilator due to the severity of his injuries. Once he had been stabilized he was rushed to a nearby facility for the further care that he required.
At this stage it is unclear what exactly happened in the collision however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
