A woman was injured during an accident at the intersection of Eiseb Street and Lois Avenue in Erasmuskloof, Pretoria this morning.
Exact detail surrounding the cause of the collision and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
Netcare 911 paramedics and other services arrived at the scene and found that a motor vehicle and light delivery vehicle had collided at the intersection, causing severe traffic congestion.
Upon assessment of all the occupants, paramedics found that a seventy-four-year-old woman had sustained serious injuries during the collision. The injured woman was treated at the scene and transported to hospital for further medical care.
The other occupants of the vehicles did not require hospitalisation.
