A 77-year-old-woman was injured this morning following a collision on Ring Road in Arcon Park in Vereeniging this morning.
When ER24 paramedics arrived on scene, they found two vehicles in the intersection.
Paramedics assessed both drivers and found that the elderly patient had sustained a fractured lower leg. The second driver escaped the collision without injury.
Paramedics treated the patient and thereafter transported her to Mediclinic Vereeniging for further medical treatment.
The cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
