A man has been killed this morning after his truck burst into flame on Robertson Pass in Mossel Bay, Southern Cape.
ER24 paramedics, along with fire services, arrived on scene and found the heavy truck lying on its side over the entire road. The vehicle was fully engulfed in flames.
Fire services managed to extinguish the blaze in a 15 minute operation.
On assessment, paramedics discovered the body of a male lying in the driver’s seat of the vehicle. Unfortunately the man had already succumbed to his fatal injuries.
The passenger in the truck sustained minor injuries but declined further treatment.
The cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
