A man was injured in a pedestrian accident along the Marionhill Road near the traffic department this afternoon. Reports from the scene indicate that the man was hit by the side mirror of a truck that was traveling along the road.
Netcare 911 paramedics and their rescue unit arrived at the scene and found the man at the side of the roadway. After he was treated at the scene, they transported him to a local hospital for the care that he required.
