Two people were injured after a truck with beer overturned on the N2 North on Umbogintwini Hill near Amanzimtoti this afternoon. Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain a subject for police investigation.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the roadway obstructed with the wreckage of the truck and broken bottles of beer. After triaging the occupants it was found that two workers sustained minor injuries, they were treated at the scene but refused transportation to hospital.
The roadway was closed for about two hours while cleaning up operation was done.
