A male in his late twenties sustained moderate injuries and is in a stable condition in a Durban Hospital after being struck by a motor vehicle on North Coast Road earlier this evening (2015-04-02).
Crisis Medical paramedics arrived on scene to find the man lying in the road way having sustained a fractured limb and suspected spinal injuries. Advanced life support intervention was initiated and the patient was placed on a specialized stretcher before being transported to hospital by ambulance for further care.
The cause of the incident is unclear however local authorities were on scene and will investigate.
