Seven people were injured, five seriously so, after a bakkie veered off the road and rolled down an embankment this morning. A report from the scene indicate that the vehicle was driving down Fannin Road in Wyebank, Pinetown when the vehicle veered off the road, rolled down a ten meter embankment, and landed against a house.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and had to clamber down the hill with their equipment to stabilise the injured. After the patients were treated at the scene they transported them to various hospitals for the care that they required.
