Three people have been killed and two others injured this afternoon after their vehicle rolled on the Villiers Road in the Vaal.
ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on scene and found the vehicle lying on its roof under the power lines running along the roadside.
On assessment, paramedics discovered that three lifeless bodies of two woman and a man lay inside the overturned vehicle. Paramedics assessed the three patients and found all three patients had already succumbed to their severe injuries.
Two other patients were found lying outside thje vehicle, their injuries ranging from minor to moderate.
Paramedics treated the patients and thereafter transported them to Sebokeng Hospital for further treatment.
The cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
